Coming off three consecutive wins, the Conquistadors ended their winning streak, falling to Colby Community College in three sets, by scores of 26-24, 25-18 and 25-12.

The Conqs were led offensively by Raquel Valdez and Gabriella ValdezRaquel Valdez led with eight kills and four total blocks, whileGabriella Valdez had 16 assists.

Alex Stecklein led the way for the Conquistadors on the defensive side with 11 digs.

"We came out strong in the first set," head coach Kamri Nehls said. "The last two sets our passing struggled more. Mentally we just weren't there tonight. We couldn't take care of the ball."

Dodge City is now 4-3 on the year and will play again on Wednesday, Sept. 6 at Hutchinson Community College, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
