1 Escape Room

The Dodge City Library Escape Room weekend continues today with

registration required to attend, contact DCPL at 620-225-0248 to register.

Times for the escape room will vary on registrations.

There will be two rooms running each with a different theme.

The October theme for Room A is Nightmare Before Christmas and is designed for younger ages and families.

Room B is designed for teens and adults at a more advanced skill level and it’s theme will be Edgar Allan Poe.

2 Dog Trials

The annual United Kennel Club agility trials are returning to the Western State Bank Expo Center this weekend.

Since 2012, the UKC has held the dog trials in Dodge City where competitors run through several obstacle courses in a timed manner with the possibility to earn titles and/or graduate to a different competition level.

The event runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. today and Sunday and is free to attend.

3 Fall and Vendor Festival

The MOPS Fall and Vendor Festival is today at the First Southern Baptist Church, located at 3106 N. 14th Ave. 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

There will be more than 30 vendors on hand showcasing from from jewelry to makeup to crafts.

Raffle tickets will be on sale for $1 a piece of 7 for $5 along with other various items.

There will also be baked goods, chili, nachos, coffee and water for available to be pruchased.

4 Farmers Market

The Farmer's Market will run today from 7 a.m. to noon and will be located along Front Street between 3rd Avenue and 2nd Avenue in downtown Dodge City every Saturday from June through October.

5 Pumpkin Patch

The annual Funny Farm Pumpkin Patch continues this weekend at 10874 W. Park St. in Dodge City.

The pumpkin patch features thousands of gourds and pumpkins as well as hayrack rides, train, playground and caramel apple blossoms.

The hours are Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. until dusk.

6 Diamond Athletics exhibition

Diamond Athletics cheer and dance teams as they host an exhibition today at the Dodge City Civic Center.

The exhibition will feature cheer, dance and tumbling from the 85 athletes involved in competition this year.

Tickets are $5 each and can be bought at the door or by contacting Val Heston at 620-561-6901.

7 Puzzle Rooms

Today and Sunday the Depot Theater Company will be hosting a Puzzle Room that will feature a variety of six themed puzzle rooms to choose from.

Participants will have 20 minutes to solve the puzzle and/or escape.

Times will begin at 6 p.m. and go every 30 minutes with the last time slot starting at 10:30 p.m.

There is a minimum of four people with a maximum of 6 people per room and tickets are $10 each.

The themes are kid-friendly but no one under 6 years old will be allowed to participate.
