1 Small Business Saturday

To add to your holiday shopping weekend, Small Business Saturday will be held throughout downtown Dodge City.

The shopping event will have a variety of downtown businesses showcasing special sales and offerings.

The event is hosted by Main Street Dodge City along with the Neighborhood Champion program.

Those who participate in the shopping experience will receive a variety of Shop Small giveaways from the local businesses.

2 Parade of Lights/VR experience

The annual Parade of Lights and Chili Cook-Off will be Monday starting at 5:30 p.m. with the cook-off at Boot Hill Museum.

The Parade of Lights will begin at 6 p.m.

The Chili Cook-Off will feature free chili samplings along with hot chocolate and cobbler.

The museum will also have Santa Claus available for visits in Santa's House.

This year there will also be a new attraction that will be a 3-minute Virtual Reality Santa Sleigh Ride.

Patrons will wear virtual reality headgear while the ride consists of moving seats in a trailer.

3 Library Holiday Open House

The Dodge City Public will host an after Parade of Lights Holiday Open House.

The event will take place immediately following the parade of lights and will feature family-friendly activities as well as a visit from Santa Claus.

There will also be a visit from stars of Paw Patrol Chase and Marshall meet children and pose for pictures.

There will also be a puppet show from Sam and Cindy Shipley and hot cocoa, coffee and warm treats

No registration to attend is required and it is free to the public.
