The Kansas Department of Transportation will resume work at US 50 and Fairway Drive on the north side of Dodge City Monday.
This will complete the addition of a signal and turning lanes to both the east and westbound lanes of US 50 allowing access to Kliesen Street to the north and Fairway Drive to the South.
Improvements are expected to be completed by Dec. 15, weather permitting.
US 50 will be reduced to one lane with a minimal delay during the project. KDOT urges drivers to be alert, pay attention to all work zone warning signs, slow down when approaching a work zone and be prepared to stop.
APAC Shears of Hutchinson is the primary contractor on the project with an approximate construction cost of $1 million.
