'Disco Fever’ Christmas auction and dance will be Saturday, Dec. 9.

The Dodge House Hotel and Convention Center will be the site where Disco Fever returns to the community for a good cause as a benefit to the Carnegie Center for the Arts and its programs.

Remember the disco era: flare-legs, three-piece suits and the bump and hustle.

The disco ball begins at 6 p.m.

An evening feature a buffet dinner (starting at 6:30 p.m.), drinks (cash bar), door prizes and a live auction (starting at 7:30 p.m.)

Of course, dancing will follow the auction.

Tickets are $50 per person and a table for six can be reserved for $250.

Last year’s event was sold out so people are encouraged to contact the Carnegie at 620-225-6388 or stopping by from 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday at The Carnegie building, 701 N. Second Ave., Dodge City, KS 67801.

People are also invited to participate in a Disco Fever Christmas Auction and Dance by donating an item and it does not have to be Christmas related.

The individual and business will be recognized and volunteers can pickup the auction item by calling 620-225-6388.

The Dodge City Area Arts Council, which oversees the Carnegie Art Center, is a 501(c)3 non-profit entity.

Donations are tax deductible according to IRS guidelines.
