Running now through business hours on Saturday, G&G Car and Truck Supercenter at 404 S. 2nd Avenue, is holding a toy drive to go to foster children in the area.

"We always pick a couple of foster kids to donate to every year so St. Francis asked us if we could hold a toy drive," G&G co-owner Traci Wentling said. "We ask that the toys be donated unwrapped so St. Francis can give the toys to the age-appropriate child."

The toy drive will run until Saturday at the end of G&G business hours of 5 p.m.

The age range of the toys are from 0-12 years old.

The donation is also a way to brighten a foster child's Christmas season according to G&G Car and Truck Supercenter's Facebook page.

With the toy drive happening as a spur of the moment, the experience, according to Wentling, is that G&G will continue the tradition.

"I definitely think we are going to do it every year from now on," she said. "We made some artwork to showcase the drive and decorated a car for it, so I truly think we are going to do this from now on."
