The annual Night to Shine event needs your help.

Sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation, Night to Shine is the full prom experience for those with special needs hosted by the Dodge City Church of the Nazarene

"We are jumping ahead a little bit in asking for volunteers for the upcoming Night to Shine," Dodge City/Ford County Development Corporation special projects coordinator Mollea Wainscott said.

The upcoming Night to Shine will be on Friday, Feb. 9, 2018, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Church of the Nazarene at 1700 W. Ross Blvd.

"If you volunteered last year there will not be a need for a background check," Wainscott said. "Only new volunteers are required to have a local background check done."

Night to Shine will be the full prom experience for the attendees.

There will be a red carpet along with paparazzi, VIP treatment of hair and makeup, shoe shining, karaoke and dancing. As well as limousine rides and a DJ.

Along with all of the other perks, everyone who attends Night to Shine will be crowned as king and queen of the prom.
