1 Congressman Town Hall

US Congressman Roger Marshall will hold a town hall today at the Senior Center in Dodge City, located at 2408 Central Avenue.

The town hall is from 9 to 10 a.m. and is open to the public.

"I look forward to returning to Dodge City to speak with fellow Kansans about the issues, ideas and concerns they have," Marshall said in a press release. "Every time we sit down, define problems together and civilly discuss them, we move closer to real solutions."

2 The Alley anniversary

The Alley is located at 2200 1st Avenue and will be holding a 20th anniversary come and go party from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Starting back in 1997, Jim Lewis and other business associates came together to build a location kids and teenagers could go to instead of being in the streets.

The Alley is a non-profit organization that is able to operate with funds from the community.

3 Young Guns

The Young Guns Timed Event Extravaganza will be showcasing up-and-coming rodeo participants at the Western State Bank Expo Center.

Contestants ranging from 3-years-old through 18 compete in events such as barrels, poles, dummy roping, team roping and calf breakaway.

The Young Guns rodeo series began last year with the series running up to February.

During the February finals, contestants will have a chance to win prize money.

This is an all-day event that will take place both today and Sunday.
