EVERFI, Inc., the nation’s leading education innovator used in 1 in 7 schools nationwide, has selected 12 Teacher Ambassadors from across North America to serve as the 2018 EVERFI Teacher Ambassadors.

Bucklin High School’s Teresa Commerford has been named as one of the 12 teacher ambassadors.

Commerford is the business teacher for Bucklin. Her courses fall into the Business Management and Entrepreneurship CTE pathway.

She is a "transition teacher" with a Master of Science in Education and four years of teaching experience.

Prior to teaching, Teresa was a product marketing manager for brands such as Spot Shot Carpet Stain Remover, Dolly Madison and Drake’s snack cakes, and Willow Tree angels and gifts.

She is an EVERFI Certified Teacher.

Upon completion of her Kansas Performance Teaching Portfolio in 2016, Commerford earned an award for achieving a portfolio score within the top-10 percent of all portfolios submitted for licensure from Fort Hays State University.

Her edtech areas of specialty support a variety of blended and flipped learning tools.

In their role, these esteemed educators will work alongside the research, curriculum development, and K-12 schools implementation teams to guide and support best practices in blended learning curriculum.

Teacher Ambassadors will participate in a teachers’ summit in Washington, DC, this summer.

In addition, ambassadors will guest write blog posts for EverFi, and serve as presenters at regional and national conferences.
