1 State basketball tournament

The 2018 KSHSAA State Basketball Class 1A Div II basketball tournament concludes at United Wireless Arena today.

Games will begin at noon.

The tournament featured both girls and boys basketball teams from Alemena-Northern Valley, Waverly, Kiowa-South Barber, Otis-Bison, McPherson-Elyria Christian, Axtell, Moscow, Sharon Springs-Wallace County, Beloit-St. John's/Tipton, Hartford, Hutchinson-Central Christian, Cunningham, Quinter and Bucklin.

2 Proof

The final curtain for the Depot Theater production of Proof will begin today and conclude on Sunday.

Proof is a Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning drama by David Auburn that follows Catherine on the night before her 25th birthday as she deals with the death of her father and tries to figure out how much here father’s genius she inherited and hoping she didn’t inherit much else.

Claire, Catherine’s older sister flies in from New York to go through father things and to sell their childhood home. A mathematical proof turns up and they must determine if their father wrote or not.

The lobby and bar open at 5:30 p.m. tonight with the theater doors opening at 6:15 p.m. and the curtain at 7:30 p.m. unday is matinee only with the lobby and bar opening at noon, theater doors at 12:45 p.m. and the curtain at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $55 for dinner and the show or $40 for the show only.

3 Rad the Ghost

Local folk rocker Rad the Ghost will be performing at Guymon Petro Bar and Grill from 7 to 10 p.m.

The show is free to attend.
