On Saturday, June 2, Main Street Dodge City will once again host the downtown summer festival from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in downtown Dodge City along 1st and 2nd Avenue.
Held in the center of the historic downtown area, the Main Street Festival is geared toward children and their families to showcase the downtown area and familiarize the community with what local businesses have to offer.
This event will feature a variety of entertainment and activities that attracts kids and adults of all ages, as well as food and merchandise from the downtown businesses and area food vendors.
The festival will have a variety of arts and craft vendors, children’s art competitions, a variety of children’s games and activities, local live entertainment and the classic cars that will be on display.
Starting at 1:30 p.m. will be the Z98 Great Quack Attack, which will take place downtown along 1st Avenue and will feature the fastest river found in the southwest, built by the Dodge City Fire Department.
