Coming into its third year, Dodge City Classics will be bringing the annual Vehicles 4 Vets to the Kansas Soldier's Home on Saturday from noon to 4 p.m.

The car show will feature cars of all types from all years along with a free will donation lunch.

Active military and veterans will eat for free.

Yard games will also be on hand and the event is free and open to the public to attend.

"Proceeds from the show will go to the American Legion Post 47 and Fort Dodge," Dodge City Classics president Cherlyn Mead said. "The money will go to vets for items that will keep them lively."

There will also be an awards ceremony after the car show with first, second and third place winners announced in trucks, street rods, antique cruisers, future classics, motorcycles and imports categories.

The awards ceremony will be at 3:30 p.m.

Vehicles registration will be from 9 a.m. to noon with an entry fee of $20 (suggested donation). For questions or more information, contact Mead at 620-369-0131 or David at 620-855-0602 or message Dodge City Classics.
