United Wireless Arena continues to bring a Christmas show to Dodge City as the arena announced that the Oak Ridge Boys will perform on Thursday, Nov. 29 at 7:30 p.m.

The Grammy Award winning country band will bring their "Shine the Light on Christmas" tour to Dodge City which will mix traditional and contemporary songs from the band's seven Christmas albums.

"Christmas is my favorite time of year. I love the positive things about the season," Oak Ridge Boys lead singer Duane Allen said in a press release. "The the joy, happiness, giving, sharing, time with family, and gifts, the beautiful lights and decorations.

"Christmas music. Special food. And most of all the true meaning, which, of course, is celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

"Every year I look forward to taking our Christmas tour all over the USA. I hope everyone will come out this year and celebrate Christmas with The Oak Ridge Boys."

The multi-award winning Oak Ridge Boys have won five Grammy's, and many Country Music Awards, Academy of Country Music and Dove Awards along with bestselling hits, "Elvira," "Bobbie Sue," "Thank God For Kids," and "Leaving Louisiana In The Broad Daylight."

The band is made up of Allen, Joe Bonsall, William Lee Golden and Richard Sterban and in 2015 were inducted into the Country Music Hall Of Fame.

Tickets for the "Shine the Light on Christmas" show go on sale Friday, Aug. 24 at 10 a.m. at ticketmaster.com, by phone at 800-745-3000, or in person at the United Wireless Arena box office.

Ticket prices range from $33, $44, and $63.
