1 Wilkerson Memorial

The 16th annual Amy Wilkerson Memorial spaghetti dinner fundraiser is today from 5 to 7 p.m. at Knights of Columbus, 800 W. Frontview.

The fundraiser is held in honor of Amy Wilkerson who was diagnosed in 1997 with Ewing’s sarcoma.

Ewing's sarcoma is a type of bone cancer usually found in children and young adults.

The spaghetti fundraiser is based on Wilkerson's favorite meal according to her father.

Hosted by the Kiwanis Club, proceeds from the fundraiser will go towards helping families that have children with devastating illnesses.

2 Farmers Market

The Farmer's Market will run on Saturday from 7 a.m. to noon and will be located along Front Street between 3rd Avenue and 2nd Avenue in downtown Dodge City every Saturday from June through October.

3 Coaches Race

Dodge City Raceway Park will host the coaches race at 7:30 p.m. that will feature  DCRP Sprint Cars, IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sport Modifieds, IMCA Stock Cars and IMCA Hobby Stocks.

Tickets are $15 for adults with children 11 and under free when accompanied by an adult.

The 2018 Dodge City Raceway Park racing season features 14 total nights of racing leading up to the return of the World of Outlaws Sprint Car series for the Boot Hill Showdown in October.
