It's rare but Final Friday falls on the last day of the month this week and there will be plenty of options for the community to enjoy.

Four locations will be holding activities from 5 to 7 p.m. as Carnegie Center for the Arts, Eryn's Downtown Center, Red Beard Coffee and Paisley & Pearls kick the night off.

At Carnegie Center for the Arts, the photography of Mike Umscheid will be on display.

Umscheid's work is of the photos taken during his time as a storm chaser, a passion that began in 2005.

Umscheid is a meteorologist with the National Weather Service

who combined his hobby with his career when it began in 2002.

He has also taken photos of wildlife, birds and landscapes and his work can be viewed on his blog at www.MikeUmscheidPhotography.com.

Red Beard Coffee and Paisley & Pearls will be having a combined special where if you make a purchase at Red Beard Coffee and take your receipt to Paisley & Pearls and spend at least $40, you will get 20 percent off your purchase.

If you purchase an item at Paisley & Pearls and take your receipt to Red Beard Coffee, you will get 10 percent off your purchase and two punches made on the punch cards.

Paisley & Pearls will also have a specialty dessert available as well as a special drawing.

Boot Hill Antiques inside Eryn's Downtown Center, will have food available and Flowers by Irene will be having lulu lemons sparkling raspberry vodka drinks along with birthday cake for Mitzi, according to owner Lisa Jackson.

From 6 to 8 p.m., 2nd Ave. Art Guild will be featuring works made in ceramics my multiple artists including Jack Stuart, Andrew Nolan, Jennifer Nolan, Marilyn Williams, Chris Stein, Robin Waldron, Cindy Patterson and various members of the 2nd Ave Art Guild, according to guild member Jennifer Nolan.

"Each artist has their own style, and work varies from sculptural art for your wall, decorative vases to functional food safe bowls, mugs and serving platters," Nolan said.

Also from 6 to 8 p.m. at Home of Stone will be the theme of Just Peachy.

The work of local amateur photographer Cindy Day will be featured from 7 to 9 p.m. at Dodge City Brewing.

Boot Hill Distillery will be holding activities from 8 to 11 p.m.

From 9 to 11 p.m., Guymon Petro Bar and Grill will have the music of Dave Kisner as well as food and drink specials.
