This Friday and Saturday, the women of rodeo will be taking their talents to Western State Bank Expo Center for the 14th annual World Finals Rodeo presented by Women's Ranch Rodeo Association.

Competition will get started at 9 a.m. Friday with the first rodeo performances along with a trade show. Both will run until 1 p.m. then at 7 p.m., the second rodeo performances of the night will begin.

On Saturday, the trade show will return at noon with the finals rodeo beginning at 2 p.m. followed by the awards presentation.

In 2005, Women's Ranch Rodeo Association was started by 12 board members and 50 WRRA members. Now through 14 states, WRRA has more than 250 members with the goal of promoting ranch women and the sport of Women's Ranch Rodeo.

The World Finals Rodeo is open to the public and free to attend.
