Jesus J. Hernandez, 18, was arrested by the Dodge City Police Department on Aug. 31 and was charged with five felonies.

According to Ford County Attorney Kevin Salzman, Hernandez was charged with rape with a child under 14 years of age, aggravated indecent liberties with a child, electronic solicitation, sexual exploitation of a child and aggravated indecent solicitation of a child.

Rape with a child under 14 years of age is an off-grid person felony with a sentence up to life in prison.

Aggravated indecent liberties with a child is an off-grid person felony with a sentence up to life in prison.

Electronic solicitation is alevel 1 person felony with a sentence of between 147 and 653 months in prison.

Sexual exploitation of a child is level 5 person felony with a possible sentence of between 31 and 136 months in prison

Aggravated indecent solicitation of a child is a level 5 person felony with a possible sentence of between 31 and 136 months in prison.

Hernandez has a bond set $250,000 and has a docket preliminary hearing scheduled for 1:30 p.m. at Ford County District Court on Sept. 13.
