The grandchild of a woman who died last summer at the Good Samaritan Society has tentatively agreed to settle a wrongful-death lawsuit against the nursing home's parent company.
Dodge City attorney David Rebein, who represents plaintiff Maria Osorio, said he could not comment on the allegations contained in the lawsuit or the terms of the confidential settlement. He said a settlement conference is set for 9 a.m. Dec. 9 in front of District Judge Daniel Love.
The Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society's attorney, Kenneth Holm, did not return a call seeking comment Friday afternoon.
