DODGE CITY —
• Approved a paramedic program for cooperative education with Garden City Community College for two years.
Danny Gillum, associate dean of technical education, said working with Garden City is the best way to keep paramedic training in Ford County and met the growing demand for paramedics in the area.
• Approved a service program and maintenance agreement between Cytek Media Systems and the college.
An allied health grant from the U.S. Department of Labor Community-Based Job Training program will pay these maintenance fees for one year, in the amount of $2,450.
• Approved the purchase of an 18-foot cargo trailer from B & S Trailer Sales for $9,665 for recruiting purposes.
