A 17-year-old man was arrested recently on suspicion of participation in a robbery earlier this month.
Dodge City Interim Police Chief Craig Mellecker declined to release the man's name Tuesday because he had not yet been certified as an adult. However, the Ford County Jail's population log identified the man as John L. Sandoval.
Mellecker said the case stemmed from an incident in which three men approached the victim, Armando Gonzalez, at 8:40 p.m. March 4 in the 300 block of East Elm Street. The men allegedly pointed a handgun at Gonzalez and demanded money, and he gave them about $90.
The gun was not used during the robbery.
