A Dodge City man pleaded no contest Wednesday to charges that he killed his infant son in July 2008.
Francisco Pablo-Bicente was originally charged with first-degree murder, but the charge was amended to second-degree murder under a plea agreement with the Ford County Attorney's Office. Prosecutors dismissed additional charges of child abuse and identity fraud as part of the agreement.
The identity fraud charge stemmed from an unrelated case in which Pablo-Bicente was accused of using another man's identity to get a job.
