The legal clash between Ford County Attorney Terry Malone and the Daily Globe continued Tuesday, but the outcome is still in doubt.
After hearing oral arguments on a motion to quash Globe reporter Claire O'Brien's subpoena, District Judge Daniel Love said he would review the arguments and relevant case law before making a decision. He expected to issue his ruling within a week.
The dispute centers on O'Brien's jailhouse interview with Samuel Bonilla, who is charged with shooting Steven Holt and Tanner Brunson on Sept. 7 in the Arkansas River bed. Holt died of his injuries, but Brunson survived.
