Motivational comedian comes to Dodge

Best-selling author, radio and television guest, motivational speaker and comedian Ken Davis is bringing his inspirational comedy concert to Dodge City.
    Davis will perform his Christian comedy show — appropriate for both adults and kids — at the Dodge City Civic Center at 4 p.m. Sunday.
    Last fall, Davis performed at his sold-out comedy night in Garden City.
    The comedy concert provides a mixture of biblical teachings and fun as Davis blends laughter into his performance.  
    Davis is a speaker for Promise Keepers and Focus on the Family. As the president of Dynamic Communications International, he also teaches speaking skills to ministry professionals and corporate executives.
    Davis has also published a wide range of books, earning him the Book of the Year award as well as the Gold Medallion Award.
    Books such as "How to Live with Your Kids" and "How to Live with Your Parents" provide advice on how to cultivate healthy family relationships through effective communication. Other titles offer humor or motivational tips to help people everywhere improve their lives. 
    Davis frequents the radio with his daily show, Lighten Up!, which is heard on more than 1,500 stations in the United States and the rest of the world.
