On Sunday, a Fairfax, Okla., man was injured in a weather-related rollover accident on U.S. Highway 283, 3.5 miles south of Dodge City.
Wayman J. Bryan attempted to pass a northbound 2010 Freightliner semitruck when he lost control of his 2003 Dodge pickup truck, the Kansas Highway Patrol reported. The pickup truck struck the driver's side of the semi-trailer truck, went into the east ditch and rolled before landing on its top.
