Three people were booked Thursday into the Ford County Detention Center on charges including aggravated kidnapping and aggravated burglary.
Curtis Clay, 29, was arrested on charges of aggravated kidnapping and aggravated burglary, according to Friday's jail log. Lucinda Couerra, 21, faces charges of aggravated kidnapping and aggravated battery.
A third suspect, 27-year-old Irvin Linsy, was arrested on charges of aggravated kidnapping and aggravated battery.
According to the Dodge City Police Department, police were called to the residence at 1303 Sixth Ave. The victim reported that at approximately 3 a.m. that day, Clay and Linsy -- who knew the victim -- entered her residence armed with a knife and demanded money for a debt owed by her roommate.
"Eventually, after the victim went to an ATM to get them money, she was released," Police Chief John Ball told the Daily Globe. "And they went to a residence, where we followed up on them."
A subsequent investigation determined the suspects were located in an apartment at 2305 First Ave. The two suspects were arrested at the apartment, along with Couerra who was wanted by the Ford County Sheriff's Office in a separate case along with Clay and Linsy.
The Kansas Department of Corrections had issued an arrest warrant for Clay, said Sheriff Dean Bush.
A search of the apartment resulted in the seizure of narcotics and a firearm
