City to accept household hazardous waste Saturday

    The City of Dodge City will be accepting household hazardous waste from its sanitation customers. This is a scheduled service being offered from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Customers may take their HHW items to the CREW/KDCB Recycling Center at 716 E. Military Ave., Dodge City.
    Items that may be dropped off consist of auto care products, used motor oil, antifreeze, cleaning products, paint products, preservatives, personal care products, pesticides, fertilizers and household batteries.
    Regular business hours for the Ford County HHW facility, located at 10972 113 Road, are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.  Appointments may also be scheduled by calling 227-4525.
