Federal officials say Ethan and Addison were the most popular names for boys and girls born in Kansas in 2007.
The Social Security Administration compiles the list of most popular baby names each year.
It’s based on applications for Social Security cards. Typically, they’re filed for the parents by the hospital when a child is born.
The agency says the most popular boys names were Ethan, Jacob, Alexander, Jackson and Noah.
As for girls, Addison, Emma, Ava, Madison and Emily were the most popular.
