In less than a week, embattled Jetmore Mayor Bill Goebel will learn whether he gets to stay in office.
Jetmore voters will head to the polls Tuesday to decide whether Goebel should be ousted from office. Polls will open at 7 a.m. that day and remain open until 7 p.m.
Advance voting for the special election, which is open only to Jetmore residents, ended at noon Friday.
Hodgeman County Clerk Dena Jordan said approximately 50 out of 631 eligible voters had requested advance ballots, and some — but not all — had returned their completed forms by Friday morning.
