On the second day of the fall term, Daniel Dawson sat in an armchair in a corner of his Sacred Heart classroom, reading aloud to a large group of 10-year-old children.
Some of them clustered around him, some sat at their desks, and a couple of boys stretched right out on the floor.
Dawson's students could have read this book themselves, but their teacher wanted to use his own voice to tell them about the notebooks he was about to pass out.
