DODGE CITY —

No one was injured in a house fire early Friday morning at 211 Juneau Ave., but one person was taken to Western Plains Medical Complex for treatment of smoke inhalation.
Dodge City Fire Department units were dispatched to the fire at 3:25 a.m., and firefighters remained on the scene until 5:45, said deputy Fire Chief Kevin Norton. There was extensive fire damage throughout the house, with the heaviest damage concentrated in the living room.
It was not immediately clear where the fire had originated, and the cause had not been determined as of late Friday morning.
Norton said the fire department's investigation is continuing.
