    Kenneth Charles Wood of Copeland died Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009 at Western Plains Medical Complex in Dodge City. He was 67.
    He was born Oct. 18, 1942 to Curtis and Freda (Beecher) Wood in Harve, Montana.
    He served his country in the United Sates Army during the Vietnam War.
    He married Rhea Jo Hollingsworth on Nov. 29, 1969 in Great Falls, Montana.  He worked at ADM Grain Elevator as an operations manager.
    Survivors include his wife, Rhea Jo; a son, Landon Wood and wife, Danielle of Moscow Mills, Missouri; two daughters, Kelly Gunther and husband, Roscoe of Woodward, Okla. and Kodi Davidson and husband, Kevin of Pratt; three brothers, Clarence Wood of Great Falls, Montana, Louis Wood of Kingsville, Texas, and Richard Wood of Detroit Mich.; three sisters, Margaret VandtSand of Gilford, Montana, Dorothy Williams of Kremlin, Montana, and Virginia Jones of Cascade, Montana; six grandchildren, two step grandchildren and three step great grandsons and other relatives and friends.
    Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m.  Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009 at the United Methodist Church in Copeland with Rev. Scharleen Cross presiding.  Military services will be conducted by the Copeland American Legion Post No. 369.  Inurnment will be at a later date.  Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. 
    A memorial has been established for Cancer Center of Kansas in Dodge City.  Memorials can be mailed to Haskell County Funeral Home-PO Box 607-Sublette, KS  67877.
