HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. —

95, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2007.
    She was born Feb. 16, 1912 in Mittituck, NY.  She married Ralph Evertt Shelor on May 31, 1936 in Kansas City.  He preceded her in death in 1997.
    She graduated from Smithtown High School in New York in 1928.  She graduated from Wichita State University in 1932.  She taught school in Bloom from 1934 to 1936.
    She lived in Bloom and Dodge City and was a homemaker most of her life.  She has lived in Huntington Beach, Calif. since 1984.  She was a loving mother and friend to many.
    Survivors include her son, Ron Shelor and wife, Pam, Topeka; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, Ethelyn and Joseph, daughter, Caryn Sue Moen in Sept. 1989, and brother, Bernard.
    Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Maple Grove Cemetery, Dodge City.
    The Daly-Bartel-Spencer Mortuary, Anaheim, Calif. was in charge of the arrangements.
