Traci Ann Garrett

    Traci Ann Garrett, 35, died Saturday, May 3, 2008 at her home in Pea Ridge, Ark. after a long battle with Lupus.
    She was born Dec. 19, 1972 to Dennis and Virginia (Luna) Elliott at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla.  She married John Garrett on Feb. 21, 1989 in Ulysses.  He survives.
    She grew up in Ulysses and attended the New Horizons Christian Academy.  She received her medical Assistant Certificate from Ross Institute.  She worked as a Medical Assistant and Dental Assistant in Monroe, MI.  She lived in Germany, Wichita, and Michigan and later moved to Arkansas.
    Survivors include her two sons, Wyatt and John (JT) both of the home; her mother, Virginia Jackson, Lakin; one brother, Darin Elliott, Portsmouth, NH.; one sister, Jenny Van Dusen, Lakin.
    She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis Elliott.
    The funeral service will be at 5 p.m. Thursday at the Garnand Funeral Home Chapel, ULysses with Rev. Dennis Carter presiding.
