Gene Schleuning

    Gene Schleuning, 88, died Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008, at Protection Valley Manor, Protection.
    The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Burkhart-Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Dodge City, with the Rev. Orlando Jantz presiding. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Dodge City.
    Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Burkhart-Ziegler Funeral Chapel.
    The family suggests memorials to Sterling House, The Good Samaritan Center or St. Catherine Hospice, all in care of Burkhart-Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, KS 67801.
