COLDWATER —

 Alan Weber , 69, died Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at his residence in Coldwater.
    He was born Nov. 3, 1938 to Frank and Laurine Schesser Weber at Protection.  He married Lovella Cusick on Oct. 14, 1977 at Wakeeney.  She survives.
    He was a lifetime resident of Comanche County and attended the Coldwater Grade School and graduated from Coldwater High School in 1956.  He was a trained technical specialist for the Ford Motor Company.
    He was the head mechanic and co-owner of Coldwater Motor Company in Coldwater for 42 years.
    He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and Coldwater Lions Club, both of Coldwater.
    Survivors include his brother, Charles A. Weber, Marion, Iowa; two sisters, Gena "Kathy" Hoover, Emporia and Jane Hoff and husband, Herbert, Claflin; four step children, Darrell Cusick, Newton, Diana Gordon, Ashland, Terry Cusick, San Antonio, Texas, and Ramon Cusick, Danville, Ind.; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by his parents.
    The memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Hatfield Prusa Funeral Home, Coldwater with Rev. Dennis Carter presiding.  Burial will be in the Crown Hill Cemetery, Coldwater.
    Friends may call from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Hatfield Prusa Funeral Home, Coldwater.
