Janice Kay Cook, 64, passed away Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, in Oskaloosa, Iowa.
She was born June 8, 1945, to Archie and Helen (Horton) Schoonover in Goodland.
She married Seth Lee Cook on Aug. 5, 1967, in Colorado Springs, Colo. He preceded her in death on May 26, 2006.
She was a homemaker and a para at Ulysses High School.
Survivors include two sons, Tim Cook and wife, Michelle Welsh Cook, of Laguna Niguel, Calif., and Chris Cook and wife, Shea, of Oskaloosa, Iowa; her mother, Helen Schoonover, Goodland; three grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
A graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Goodland Cemetery in Goodland. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Grant County Funeral Home, Ulysses.
