Ramona M. Klein, 59, died Friday, Aug. 27, 2010, at Via Christi Regional Medical Center-St. Francis Campus, Wichita.
    She was born Aug. 25, 1951, at Garden City to John and Aielene Bayless Dansel. In 1969, she married Eldon Klein at Jetmore. They later divorced.
    A Dodge City resident since 1985, moving from Jetmore, she was most recently a certified medication aide at Sterling House in Dodge City.
    Survivors include her three children, Shawna Maley and husband, Dan, San Antonio, Texas, Shala Klein, Dodge City, and Shanon Klein and wife Nicole, Fort Carson, Colo.; a brother, J.E. Dansel and wife, Karla, Jetmore; and three grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Peggy Birney.
    A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Jetmore United Methodist Church, with Carolyn Tarman and Dr. Dyton Owen presiding. The family asks that friends remember Ramona by wearing purple to the memorial service.         There will be no public viewing, as cremation has taken place.
    Friends may sign the register from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday at Burkhart-Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Dodge City.
    The family suggests memorials to the Ramona M. Klein Memorial Fund in care of Burkhart-Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, KS 67801. Condolences may be sent to www.burkhart-ziegler.com.
