William "Bill" Masch

 William "Bill" Masch passed away November 6, 2009, in Duncan, OK.
     He was born September 1, 1933, in Scott City, KS, to a farming and ranching family, John and Fay (Morgan) Masch. He lived in Scott City until he was in high school, when the family moved to one of their ranches near Aguilar, CO.
     After years of working on the ranches and in the oilfields, Bill decided to go back to college. He received degrees from Texas Tech and Texas A & M in agricultural economics. He spent all his life in the cattle business and also enjoyed a successful venture into cutting horses.
     He was a member of Texas, Kansas and Colorado Cattle Associations, ACHA and past president of the Kansas Cutting Horse Association.
     Bill is survived by his wife, Nan, of 47 years; daughters, Martha Walker, Anna Reed and husband, Jimmy, Sara Floyd and husband, Brandon, all of Duncan; his son, Greg and wife, Candace, of Ardmore, OK; his son Christopher of Plano, Texas; 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Ann Berry of Ann Arbor, MI; and numerous nieces and nephews.
     He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, John Morgan Masch.
     Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2009, in Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel with Kelly Moore officiating, under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home.
