Kevin Pendergast of Dodge City High School has been selected to run in the 2008 Kansas Shrine Bowl 5k and 1-mile runs as a part of the Shrine Bowl All-Star cross country team. The charity all-star event is scheduled for Saturday July 26 in Emporia.
60 runners statewide are selected each year as all-stars to run in the race each year. The Shrine Bowl donates all net profits from the event to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
