2008 Demon basketball camp

    The 2008 Dodge City High School boys basketball camp starts Monday, and coach Dennis Hamilton is still accepting registration. Completed registration forms can be brought to the first day of camp.
    There have been minor changes to the camp schedule. Seventh and eighth grade campers will have the floor from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., and those entering grades 9-12 will have camp from 3-5:30 p.m.
    Campers are eligible if they are entering grades 7-12 for the 2008-'09 school year and attending Dodge City High School, Dodge City Middle School or Sacred Heart Cathedral School.
    The cost per camper is $25 and the camp will run through Thursday, July 17 at the DCHS field house. Campers will be schooled in fundamentals of the game as well as the life lessons basketball can teach.
