          The Dodge City Lady Conquistadors lost to Highland and Brown Mackie in the NJCAA Region VI-District E tournament Sunday afternoon at Topeka's Hummer Sports Complex.The Lady Conqs lost to Highland 3-2 in a first round game and then fell to Brown Mackie 12-4 in a losers bracket contest.Dodge City (25-22) scored both of their runs against Highland in the top of the first. Ashley Stephenson and Amanda Best hit singles and were brought in on a triple by Taylee Heckman.

          The Dodge City Conquistadors couldn't get their bats going and fell 4-0 to Neosho County in the deciding game of the Region VI first round series Sunday afternoon at Cavalier Field.The Conqs could never get any offense going in their final game of the season against Panthers' starting pitcher Jake Johnson. Johnson gave up only six hits and a walk while striking out three to push the Panthers (31-24) to next week's regional tournament in Wichita.
