Leading throughout the entire tournament, the Conquistadors shot a score of 311 on day two to win the Region VI Championship by 16 strokes and punch their ticket to the NJCAA Women's National Championship.

After day one, Dodge City shot a score of 320, to lead by 19 strokes, #9 Barton came back on day two with a score of 308 to lead all teams. But  #8 Dodge City was able to better their day one score by nine strokes and shoot a 311 to post a total score of  631 to beat #9 Barton who shot a total score of 647 by 16 strokes. Coffeyville rounded out the field shooting a 372 on day one and a 352 on day two to post a score of 724.

Napaknaree Sirithorn led all golfers through day one with a score of 77, but after shooting a 79 in round two, dropped into second place. The Conquistadors then finished in order as Suthasinee Sridet finished in third, Odette Booysen finished in fourth, Kanyakorn Chothirunpani finished in fifth and Tanyaporn Chothirunpani finished tied for sixth.

Dodge City also had two golfers competing as individuals as Sarah Bayouth shot a 183 and Katherine Rostetter shot a 189.

This is Dodge City's second straight Region VI Championship. They will be in action again on May 13-17 as they travel to Mesa, Ariz., where they will compete in the NJCAA Women's National Championship.
