The Dodge City A’s hit the Fort Collins Foxes early and often Thursday night, scoring two runs in the first inning, three in the second, three in the fifth and three in the seventh in an 11-1, seven-inning win.

Carson Green had the lone RBI for Fort Collins, which came in the fourth and at the time cut the A’s lead to 5-1 after the A’s jumped out to a 5-0 lead by the end of the second.

For Dodge City, Kyle Cullen had three hits and three runs. Adam Hollar had two runs and one hit. David Gonzalez had one hit, one run on a home run and three RBIs. Carlos Arrellano had two RBIs, one run and one hit. Dylan Johnson had two hits and one RBI, and Isaiah Haddad had one hit, two RBIs and a home run.

The A’s are scheduled to open a three-game series Friday night at home against the Haysville Aviators. Friday and Saturday’s games are scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m., while Sunday’s game is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. All three take place at Cavalier Field in Dodge City, Kansas.
