Coming off their first win of the season on Friday, the Conquistador men's soccer team continued their winning ways on Sunday as they defeated Murray State College by a score of 1-0.

Both defenses stood strong for most of the first half, but after 31 scoreless minutes, Kieran Guthrie was able to score his first goal of the season on a pass from Connor O'Neill to give Dodge City a 1-0 lead.

For the rest of the game, the Conquistadors were able to keep the Aggies off the scoreboard as they finished the game with a shutout to receive their second win in three days.

Dodg City is now 2-1 on the year and will be in action again on Wednesday Aug. 29, when they host Northern Oklahoma College-Tonkawa at 4 p.m., in their final non-conference matchup before KJCCC play begins.
