Friday night, high school football teams from around the area kicked off their seasons. Here are results from the games we were able get scores on from the Southern Plains - Iroquois Activities Association.

Satanta at Spearville: Spearville wins 52-6.

Spearville is next in action when the team heads to Coldwater to take on South Central Sept. 7.

Satanta also is in action Sept. 7. They host the South Gray Rebels at 7 p.m. that night.

 

South Central at Bucklin: South Central won 51-6.

Bucklin is next in action Sept. 7 when they travel to play Otis Bison.

South Central is next in action Sept. 7 when they host Spearville.

 

Ashland at Natoma: Ashland wins 52-0.

Cody Lording had two passing touchdowns, one rushing touchdown and an interception for a touchdown on his birthday, according to head coach Ben Fox.

Fowler at Cheylin: Cheylin won 54-26

Hodgeman County Longhorns at Dighton: Hodgeman County won 38-12 in a game called after the third quarter due to lightning.

South Gray at Ingalls: South Gray wins 58-12.

Minneola at Kiowa County: Kiowa County wins 52-6

Minneola is next in action Sept. 7 when they travel to play Stafford.

Pawnee Heights versus Western Plains: Pawnee Heights wins 49-0.

Pawnee Heights is next in action Sept. 7 when they travel to play at Weskan.
