The Dodge City Community College Conquistadors (2-4) host the Coffeyville Red Ravens (2-3) inside Dodge City’s Memorial Stadium Saturday.

If the Conquistadors are going to make a move to try and secure a bowl appearance, the time is now. Last year, only Blinn (Texas) and Mesa (Arizona) appeared in bowl games with six wins or fewer.

For Dodge City to reach six wins, the Conquistadors will need to win four of their last five on a schedule that includes current No. 5 ranked Hutchinson Oct. 20 in Dodge City, and on the road against No. 13 Highland just seven days later.

Entering Saturday’s game, the Conquistadors have lost two straight, against Iowa Western and against then-No. 13 Butler back on Sept. 22.

Dodge City’s Sept. 22 loss to Butler in double overtime came the same day as Coffeyville lost to Highland in overtime. The Red Ravens enter the game having also lost to Butler two games ago.

Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. in Memorial Stadium.
