The Dodge City Red Demons boys cross country team continued its strong season Saturday, winning the Salina Invitational.

Overall, the team finished first ahead of Goddard-Eisenhower.

Here is how each of the boys varsity runners did:

- Javier Marquez finished third in a time of 16:55.

- Quest Willer finished fifth in a time of 17:12.

- Giovanni Valverde finished sixth in a time of 17:13.

- Montel Love finished seventh in a time of 17:16.

- Jesus Solis finished 11th in a time of 17:27.

- Israel Rojas finished 16th in a time of 17:45.

- Alfonso Rodriguez finished 22nd in a time of 18:06.

On the girls side, the Red Demons finished second behind Goddard-Eisenhower which finished first overall, and ahead of Salina South which finished third.

Here are how each of the girls varsity runners did:

- Serenity Larson finished fifth in a time of 21:04.

- Caroline Williams finished ninth in a time of 21:17.

- Denise Dominguez finished 12th in a time of 21:22.

- Ayanna Hensley finished 13th in a time of 21:23.

- Ely Dorado finished 16th in a time of 21:29.

- Daisy Orozco finished 17th in a time of 21:34.

- Karina Herrera finished 27th in a time of 22:02.

- Norma Rodriguez finished 33rd in a time of 22:10.

- Anna Ridgway finished 40th in a time of 22:46.

- Ximena Cervantes finished 45th in a time of 23:19.

- Jay Vargas finished 47th in a time of 23:25.

- Karina Estrada finished 51st in a time of 24:06.
