Red Demons roar past Hays for 59-28 win

    Dodge City High School’s girls’ basketball team is ranked No. 7 in the latest Class 6A poll by the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association.
    Better yet, fresh off a 59-28 victory over Hays High School Tuesday night at the DCHS Fieldhouse, the Red Demons are in first place in the Western Athletic Conference with a 4-0 record, one game ahead of Garden City (3-1).
    “Those rankings are nice right now,” DCHS head coach Justin Briggs said. “But we want to be there at the end.
