LIBERAL — Brenna Briggs scored a season-high 15 points, Valerie Ortiz added 12 points and Keasha Buckner scored 10, as the guard trio led the Dodge City High School girls’ basketball team to a 51-34 road victory over Liberal Tuesday night.
Buckner added eight rebounds, four assists and two steals for the Red Demons, who are unbeaten atop the Western Athletic Conference at 3-0 and 10-3 overall.
“She’s kind of a sparkplug for our team,” DCHS coach Justin Briggs said.
