The Dodge City High School varsity volleyball team took part in the Joan Wells tournament.
The Red Demons lost to Maize (25-22, 25-22), fell to Shawnee Mission Northeast (27-25, 19-25, 27-25) and lost to St. James Academy (25-14, 25 -15) against St. James Academy.
In the silver division, Dodge City beat Wichita Kapaun (27-25, 21-25, 25-19) to advance to play Shawnee Mission East, where the Demons lost, 25-20, 25-17.
